What is the standard of elevator for home villa
The domestic elevator is different from the commercial elevator in the special equipment safety regulations, and has its own definition standard. GB/T 21739-2008 "Specification for the Manufacture and Installation of Household Elevators" defines a household elevator as an elevator installed in a private residence and used only by a single family member. It can also be installed in a building that is not used by a single family as a tool for a single family to enter its residence, but the public or other residents in the building cannot enter and use it.
According to the provisions of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Safety of Special Equipment and the Announcement of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine on the Revision of the Catalogue of Special Equipment (2014 No. 114), the domestic elevator does not belong to the category of special equipment elevator in the legal sense.
The domestic elevator market in China has been developing rapidly since about 2000. According to relevant statistics in China, more than 30000 new household elevators were installed in 2018 and 50000 in 2019. With the aging process and the increase of national income in China, more and more families will choose to install domestic elevators. At present, there are 4.5 million to 5 million sets of villas in China, and the market for domestic elevators is very considerable, with the rural and urban junction and villas built by farmers themselves.
The drive motor installed on the platform drives the nut to rotate around the screw, which generates lifting force and drives the platform to move up and down. The advantages are simple structure, low cost and small installation space. The disadvantages are open platform, high mechanical noise, slow running speed (usually 0.15 m/s), poor comfort and easy wear of screw.
The traditional chain wheel and chain drive technology is adopted, which is similar to the three-dimensional garage. The advantages are small space occupation and low cost. The disadvantages are high noise, poor comfort and large amount of lubricating oil.
The hydraulic device is used to push the lift car up and down. The advantages are low energy consumption, small pit requirements, moderate speed and low operating noise. The disadvantages are easy to leak oil, sensitive to temperature, poor environmental protection, smell, loud noise, and inconvenient oil circuit maintenance.
The lift car is driven by the friction between the wire rope (or steel belt) and the drive wheel groove. The advantages are low energy consumption, low running noise, good running comfort, fast running speed, long service life and high degree of automation. The disadvantage is that the product cost is high, and the civil engineering requirements are higher than screw drive or sprocket drive.
